Memories of Stony Stratford

Fitting that the Nomad Newlyweds were able to spend a couple weeks in Stony Stratford – a once important stop on the road to Ireland – before they boarded the train and headed for the Holyhead ferry terminal.

In the stage coach era of the 17th and early 18th centuries, Stony Stratford was a major resting place and exchange point to accommodate coach travelers. Evidence of the town’s past can be seen in its churches, hotels, and other old buildings as seen in the photos below.

Sir Bobby

Another feline friend that we will miss very much – Sir Bobby pictured above on her favorite pillow!
Meredith is bound and determined to make Sir Bobby a youtube sensation and win Ellen Degeneres’s cat video of the year!
